The model 37969 is a steam locomotive of the Gt 2x4/4 series from Era II of the Gruppenverwaltung Bayern (GVB). The model is a dirty version of the Märklin 37967 and was released in a limited edition of approx. 1000 pieces in 2011. The model represents a Gt 2x4/4 in green/black dirty version, the 2nd conversion version from the period 10 -01-1927 to 03-11-1932. The model is equipped with a high-performance motor (DCM) and a Märklin MFX decoder with sound functions. The model is largely made of metal and, in addition to switching the lighting on/off, has many operating noises such as steam locomotive driving noise, squeaking brakes, locomotive whistle, shoveling coal, blowing off steam, etc.
