Expert tasting note: "Deep, dark ruby-red color, is very nearly opaque. Cassis fruit on the nose is quite tight. The palate is also closed & dominated by cedar. Nice fresh acidity gives the wine bite as the cassis fruit opens. The tannic structure is ungenerous & lacks suppleness at present. The cedary oak is well-handled & attractive.
