Obverse: In Arabic, Profession of Faith: (3-dotted triangle) / There is no god but / God, him alone / with no partner; in the field, to the left, (; in the margin between linear circumscriptions, Muhammad's Prophetic Mission (Quran 61:9): It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth to manifest it over all religion, although those who associate others with Allah dislike it.
Reverse: In Arabic: (3-dotted triangle) / Muhammad is / the envoy of God / The Imam, Emir of the Believers / 'Abd al-Rahman / (3-dotted triangle); in the margin between linear circumscriptions: This dinar was struck in the name of God in al-Andalus, in the year twenty-four and three hundred.
