Marillion - Clutching At Straws is the final studio album of Fish-era Marillion. On offer here is a NM copy of the Japanese pressing from 1987 on EMI (EMS-91230). Vinyl and cover, OBI and insert are in NM condition.
Marillion's fan base is divided over whether this album or Misplaced Childhood is the best album the band has ever made. I think that all the songs on this one are excellent - don't skip one, listen it to from beginning to end - and relisten - the subtle emotional and atmospheric album will grow on you. Enjoy the smooth keyboards and the delightful and melodic guitar solos. The short songs formula really works on this record. The guys expressed well what they felt in the bars during the tour; the lyrics are sad, but the music is very well made and addictive.
