Binding in good condition, work in its period brown full leather binding, covers and spine in good condition, friction from use, lacks of leather on the caps, rubbed corners, adorned ribbed spine, red edges, gilded title and volume number on morocco labels.

Inside in average condition, the title page and flyleaves are soiled / burnt, a lack on the corner of one flyleaf on page of the table of contents, lightly browned pages with some spots of soiling or foxing throughout the work, lovely headbands, ornamental initials, culs-de-lampe, some cuts or soiling on the plates but nothing of consequence, complete of its fine fold-out plates.
