This is the monumental work on the history of the Franks that the meticulous historian Paolo Emilio de Verona left incomplete when he died. This work was completed by the French jurist Arnoldi Ferroni from Bordeaux. CCPB 787374-3, for the work of Paolo Emilio and CCPB 15127-0 for that of Ferroni. Brunet (i 64) praises the author for his neatness, accuracy and style, and recognises the excellence of the work of the Parisian typographer M. Vascosanus.
