Early French Pré réglementaire militairy cavalerie pistol dating from the beginning of the 18th century 1700 - 1720 in very good condition.
Smooth-bore, two-stage, 15,5 mm cal. barrel, from octagonal to round, metal fore-sight. Lock signed (difficult te read) with smooth roundish lockplate in very good working order, the hammer holds the two notches tight. Wooden full stock, in good condition with some old restaurations. On the counterplate side marked with 'PU'. Smooth, brass mounts, rear escutcheon thumb fitting surmounted by a ducal crown. Open sawn brass counter-plate. Wooden ramrod with brass tip
