Tenpo Mameinta-gin, minted between 1837 and 1858, Japanese currency in circulation during the Edo period (1601-1865) in silver (26.1%) double daikoku of the large type (10.1 g).
It is a very beautiful coin. The condition is remarkable, of the large type as its weight is over 10 g.
The patina is remarkably beautiful, the inscriptions and details are perfectly visible.
This specimen comes from a private collection.
