Märklin description:
Model: 4-part set. Chassis of the motorised end carriage is made out of die-cast metal. The locomotive has an MFX Digital decoder, 5-pole angled motor with flywheel and a sound generator. Cabs at either end are with fitted interior. Powered on 2 axles on one bogie. With traction tyres. Power uptake of whichever railcar is at the front in the direction of travel. Special close couplings with guide mechanisms. Installed interior lighting is a standard feature. Front-signal lighting with realistic light-yellow LEDs. Interior lighting with warm-white LEDs. The fitted interior matches the specific type of carriage. Front-signal and 2 red end-signal lights and interior lighting all operate in conventional mode with digital control. Detailed version of drivetrain and superstructure. The end carriages are fitted with replica “Scharffenberg” couplings with covers. For double traction an extra "Scharffenberg" coupling connection is included. When the carriages are connected in series the transit doors on the end-carriages are closed. On this model on one end-carriage the doors fold open outwards and then slide open - this can be effected by means of fitting the enclosed components. The total length of the train is 114.8 cm.
