United States of America - Beautiful USAAF Aircrew WW2 A-Class Dress Jacket - 39L (Large size!!!!) - NAMED with information! - 1942

Great a-class jacket, with a USAAF patch and early war screw back collar discs named to Lincoln V. MATTHEWS JR, who was from New Mexico and enlisted in 1942. The early war collar discs are consistent with the owner having enlisted in 1942. Wonderful patina. The jacket is beautifully named inside to the owner (laundry number) and there is a copy included of his servce file as a screenshot. The jacket has his name inscribed and also the last 4 digits of his laundry code (0020). The jacket is complete with all its buttons and has a nice manufacturer tag which is partially worn out due to wear (this uniform , however, were not made after the war anymore). Nice honest uniform. I haven’t done any more research on the name, this would be a lot of fun to do.
