Beautiful uniform which belonged to Pfc Theodore Daniel Piteo. 88th engineer Hv. Pontoon company, 3rd Army.
Pfc Piteo helped build bridges over the Danube River, Rhine, etc. His memoirs have been described online with countless photographs of both his service period and family photos from the years that followed.
Jacket is size 38S. Dated: 16th of December, 1944 and identified with his Laundry code. Trousers are size 33x31 and dated March 1945.
Both in fine condition, with all the original insignia.
