The Colt New Line .30 calibre is an exception. It is the only weapon from the Hartford-based company ever made in this calibre. Sold from 1874 to 1876, this small revolver has a grooved barrel measuring 5.6 cm.
The New Line inspired many gunsmiths at the time when John Mahlon Marlin was preparing to launch his range of pocket revolvers.
