Fascist Italy 1943-1945 - Enlistment of the X MAS Flotilla - Prince Junio Valerio Borghese - Italian Social Republic Propaganda Flyer
No. 59731699
Rare propaganda leaflet for enlistment in the Decima Flottiglia MAS
Distributed by the headquarters of the Decima after 8 September 1943 to encourage the enlistment of volunteers in the ranks of Commander Junio Valerio Borghese’s Decima MAS.
The following is the text on the leaflet, which, although there are traces of dirt, is in good condition but may not be well legible in the photos attached to the auction due to the poor quality of the ink and the leaflet’s age:
X FLOTTIGLIA MAS - IN THE NAME OF ITALY
The volunteers of the San Marco Battalion have resumed their combat post, tightened around their flag which as never been lowered.
It is these fighters whose pride and value are undenied pure traditions who show us today the only right way to follow: to fight.
Sailors, Arditi, Sappers, Paratroopers and soldiers of all armies,
The San Marco Regiment collects under the aegis of the Decima Flottiglia Mas the flower of Italian boldness.
His glorious insignia know no stain:
