Spanish helmet model 1926, manufactured in Trubia and that was regulatory during the Spanish Civil War 1936-1939
It is a rare and unusual piece today, since it was not modified after the war as happened with almost all of them.
At the end of the war, Franco's army recovered almost all the helmets that had been used by both sides and repainted them khaki green and added a brass eagle on the front.
This is how they were used until the 1950s.
This helmet that we present, is a survivor of the war, of the Republican army.
It has the gray-cement colour as they were painted when they left the factory, it also retains the original chin strap and no modifications have been made.
A very interesting piece for collectors.
Two photos of fighters from the Republic are shown, using this same type of helmet.
