He worked as a Professor of the Roads and Earthworks Chair at the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Architecture at Istanbul Technical University, and Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Member of the Istanbul Municipality Reconstruction Advisory Board, Delegate of the International Union of Architects, Member of the UNESCO National Commission, and Senator of the United Nations Organization Volunteer Education Center.

Political Life
He served as a Member of the Council of Ministers of the Constituent Assembly between January 6, 1961 and October 25, 1961. In the 24th Government (Gursel I Government) established by Cemal Gursel, in the cabinet reshuffle on 12 September 1960 and in the 25th Government (II Gursel Government) established on 5 January 1961, as the Minister of Public Works (Vice Public Works). appointed.
