8 silver reales minted at the Guatemalan mint in 1818. Assayer M.

Obverse: FERDIN VII DEI GRATIA 1818 (Ferdinand VII by the grace of God) around the laureate king's bust right.

Reverse: HISPAN ET IND REX. Mo (mint) 8 R J J. (assayer) (King of the Spains and the Indies) around a coat of arms crowned with castles and lions with a pomegranate at a point and an escutcheon of the Bourbons, between two columns, on the boluta columns with the inscription PLUS VLTRA.
