Wine bought to Martinborough Vineyard distribution in 2016.
Stored in private cellar up to today.
Martinborough Terrace Pinot Noir has been the flagship wine of the winery and recently replaced by "Home Block" Pinot Noir. It's extremely rare to find an old bottle, and even much more difficult in these storage conditions. The price of a vintage recently released is about 60€ and a bottle auctioned from the vintage 2004 is about 100€.
100% Pinot Noir from the company’s oldest blocks on the Martinborough Terrace, hand-picked and hand-sorted and indigenous yeast fermented with 20% whole bunches to 14% alc., the wine spending on average 24 days on skins and aged 12 months in 31% new French oak barrels.
