Paul Morand, born on 13 March 1888 in the 8th arrondissement of Paris and died on 23 July 1976 in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, was a French writer, diplomat and member of the Académie Française. He was ambassador of the French State in Vichy during the Second World War.
