Paul Morand, born on 13 March 1888 in the 8th arrondissement of Paris and died on 23 July 1976 in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, was a French writer, diplomat and member of the Académie Française. He was ambassador of the French State in Vichy during the Second World War.

He was the author of about 80 works spanning all literary genres. (See Wikipedia)
