Egypt Painted and Described - xv, 246 + 75 colour plates - London, A.C. Black, 1910 - 5th impression (1902) - original decorated cloth binding.
Condition: fairly good: the binding is evenly discoloured. The bookblock is slightly receding. Two transparencies with folds. Inscription from 1910 on the endpaper. The book is overall in normal antiquarian condition. Paper clean and odourless.
The plates are very beautiful; few painters like Talbot Kelly are able to render the intense light so realistically.
