Rare vintage, now perfectly matured and expressing nicely typical characteristics of the Côte de Nuits.
It is rather comapable with 2004: not so elegant in its young years but those of you who had a chance to taste 2004 recently will understand. It took many years to achieve a smooth balance between fruit, tannins and acidity.
In this Nuits St Georges Tannins are still surprisingly present and indicate a best drink timing in 3-5 years from now.
Lovely to drink now or be patient and rewarded in a few years.
