George III manuscript vellum indenture [Lease] dated 2nd December 1760 between Felton Nevill of Billericay in the County of Essex, Esquire of the one part and Thomas Fairchild of the Parish of Saint Michael London, Clerk in the County of Essex, of the other part.
The document is the Lease for one year of all that capital messuage or tenement with the appurtenances situate lying and being in Letcombe Regis in the County of Berks called or known by the name of Gostons and all arable land, closes, meadow and pasture ground and commons thereunto belonging and also that messuage or tenement in Letcombe Regis formerly called or known by the name of Smiths with all outhouse, barns, stables, etc, along with numerous lands.
The consideration of the sum of five shillings.
The indenture has the usual age related folds, feint patchy browning and soiling, fully legible, and comes with the original red wax seal and signature,
