The Stuart dynasty (originally written as Stewart) ruled Scotland between 1371 and 1714, and England, Ireland and Wales between 1603 and 1714. They were removed from the throne after the death of Anne of Great Britain and the accession of George of Hanover under the Act of Establishment.
