Eusebius of Caesarea (from the Latin Eusebius Caesariensis), born in 260/64 in Palestine; died in 339 or 340 in Caesarea. Late Antiquity Christian theologian and historian, father of the Church.

Full vintage vellum binding. Some lack of vellum on the binding (on the spine).
The title page has a lack of angular paper without loss of text (see photos).
A handwritten mention is crossed out at the bottom of the title page.
Wetness affecting some pages (mostly only in the margin without encroaching on the text). Rednesses.

First edition of the work edited by Marcus Hopper, Graesse.
Two pieces in one volume, with frontispiece, a printing mark and engraved initials. Volume 1 contains: "De evangelia praeparatione; De evangelia demonstratione; De historia ecclesiastica; De vita Constantini; De philosophorum circa res naturales et mundi partes dissensione." Volume 2: "Chronicon".
