Biography

Peonia (aka Alyona Kosareva) is a Russian artist who lives and works in Turin.
The fundamental basics learned in the Moscow School of Fine Arts where I come from have opened the door to creativity and therefore to the possibility of putting my energies on canvas.
The classic design was not enough for me and let my imagination fly elsewhere. From that moment my artistic journey began:
oil, watercolor, pencil drawing, pastel, charcoal, children's illustrations, calligraphy, and graphic design.
Over time, I became more and more interested in intimacy and the female soul. In fact, my canvases try to describe the feelings of women that often appear obscure, sometimes unpredictable, to those who do not stop to analyze them.

Talking, through colors and shapes, about things you can't find the words for.
It is a magical language that I try to capture every day.
