Nice set of 100% original early war, 1943 or so, WW2 USA Dog tags, named to Alva R Weed, who enlisted in 1943 and was from Oklahoma City (see tetanus shots received in 1943 and 1944, T-43 and T-44 ). Plenty can be found of him online, see attached screenshots. He was a protestant in born in 1917. Nice original set of dog tags complete with the original paper package for the dog tag chain! I haven't done any more research. Great to do more research on! A beautiful, untouched set with a great patina.
