O. Dupuy & C° Elisèe Brandy 73cl 40% - b. 1956

[Expert's remark: Élysée was a long term registered brand name for Otard Dupuy, under which they sold some of their cognac since the 1930s. It was only later that they start selling brandy under the 'Élysée' brand, under their O. Dupuy subsidiary (most likely to prevent confusion with their main Otard brand and avoid problems with the BNIC). As the label states 'Brandy' not cognac, most likely the bottle contains brandy from another region in France (or possibly a blend of cognac and brandy).
Interestingly, they only registered this O. Dupuy brandy label in 1959, so after this was shipped to Italy. I've seen more instances of this (or the archives are incomplete). - ES
