Mercedes-Benz - CLS 55 AMG IWC Ingenieur - 2005

It was born in 2005 as a collaboration project of Mercedes-AMG and IWC Schaffhausen, an acclaimed Swiss company known for excellent watches. Mercedes CLS 55 AMG IWC Ingenieur C219 debuted at the Geneva fairs where the production of a short series, consisting of only 55 specimens, was announced. The car is covered with beautiful dark titanium grey metallic paint. Details such as the radiator grille, fog lamp rims, side window rims and the frame over the rear registration plate are the same matte titanium colour which matches the titanium case of the Ingenieur AMG watch which had its debut at the same time. The 19" AMG wheels have finished in a similar way, and they look beautiful next to the paint. The interior also matches the colour of the paint, and there is a special accent on the instrument panel – the style of the watch also follows the design of the Ingenieur model of the IWC company. Mercedes-Benz CLS55 AMG edition IWC ingenieur, 1 of 55 specimens produced in the world. The car has been imported from Japan to my private collection in 2020, with the mileage of 13,800 km. The mileage is, off course, confirmed with service entries in the Mercedes-Benz system. I am the second owner of this car (the first one was a woman in Japan). During the last two years of use, the car has been serviced a few times. The maintenance tasks were mainly: oil change, filter replacement, the replacement of suspension elements due to low mileage, command, tyre replacement, and replacement of lamps for the European market. It is one of the best preserved IWC specimens of the 55 in the world. This 55 AMG CLS is a great capital investment. After my efforts, it is in perfect condition, and driving it is a great joy.
