This is the first coin in the new series "Prehistoric Life" from the Congo dedicated to Tyrannosaurus Rex (abbreviated: T-Rex). The motif of this minted gold coin depicts a prehistoric monster - Tyrannosaurus with his victim. In the background you can see mountains, forests and two other dinosaurs. Next to the tyrannosaur are the inscriptions: "TYRANNOSAURUS REX", "68-66 MIO YEARS BC" and the year of issue 2020. The design is framed by the name of the series "PREHISTORIC LIFE". Tyrannosaurus Rex roamed the earth during the Upper Cretaceous. It was a giant carnivore, reaching a body length of up to 13 meters and weighing up to 7 tons.

Reverse: Tyrannosaurus with its prey, two other dinosaurs in the distance, forests and mountains in the background. Date stamped: 2020
