Product description: Barolo "Mosconi" is born from the pure use of a great Piedmontese red grape variety, Nebbiolo. The vines of this variety grow in plots owned by Conterno Fantino within the municipality of Monforte d’Alba, in a terroir consisting mainly of silt, to which a similar percentage of sand and clay is added, facing south. The grapes, grown organically and harvested in mid-October, once arrived in the rooms used for winemaking, ferment and macerate in contact with the skins in horizontal steel fermenters for 8-15 days, and then mature in French oak barrels. for 24 months. After bottling, the wine undergoes a further aging period of 12 months, directly in the glass
