HISTORY/OVERVIEW
The 996 brought major changes compared to the previous 993: it was the first to be equipped with a water-cooled engine as well as four-valve distribution per cylinder, it had a completely redesigned exterior and cockpit and a higher level of comfort.

This Carrera 2 version with manual transmission was delivered new in Italy, before being sold in France to its last owner who used it along the coast in the summer

EXTERNAL
The bodywork is in the beautiful factory color "Ocean Blue Metallic" with a blue hood and matching hard top. The paintwork is in excellent condition, a polishing treatment and a feeler gauge test showed no significant incidents, the carfax showed no incidents.

The underbody is preserved and in excellent condition, the last technical check revealed no defects or corrosion as expected from a car with few kilometers

INTERNAL
The leather interior is in excellent original condition, as is the dashboard and all the carpet, a nourishment and cleaning treatment has just been completed on all the original leather. The hood raises and lowers regularly.

MECHANICS
Mechanically the car has always been regularly maintained with invoices certifying the work and kilometres, and the car has no mechanical defects and is ready to be used. The air conditioning is working. It is equipped with original options from the factory: sports rims, lowered suspension, self-locking differential (optional codes).

This version is increasingly sought after today, with manual gearbox and low kilometers and interesting sporty options. They are an excellent investment now that the prices are still accessible.
