The album “Paranoid” is not only a cornerstone of Black Sabbath's career, but also a milestone in the development of heavy metal.
The raw energy, heavy riffs and dark lyrical themes continue to resonate with listeners, making it an essential album for metal fans worldwide.

★★★ Japan initial first release.
★★★ Comes with an obi strip with ¥1,950 printed on it as well as on the back of the jacket.
The record company, Nippon Phonogram Co. Ltd., Tokyo, credits Philips as the label for it features the generic blue label on the vinyl & reads SFX-7266 (6360 011.1) Made in Japan.
Like the original UK version this also comes in a gatefold sleeve, however instead of the tracklist/credits being printed over a group photo background, the Japanese release features a white background with the track list and durations in English, liner notes in Japanese by Tsuneo O' Mori along with the English lyrics(obviously transcribed by ear due to many mistakes) and a "Do It Rock" advertisement insert sheet with monochrome photos of album covers from other artists sold by Nippon Phonogram.
There is a Vertigo symbol on the obi as an homage/respect, this is not the "label" Nippon Phonogram was necessarily distributing
The record itself is black translucent when looking with a strong light source.
Condition:
LP / Side One NM (wonderful) Side Two VG+
OBI / VG+ to Near Mint (unrecognizable light scratches on the white front cover and loose creases at the top right / overall impression good)
Cover / VG+ (wrinkles, a pressure, Inside the gatefold slight gray on top and down)
Advertisement Insert / VG+ (light hand creases and stains)
Please understand that there are individual differences in perception
