This lot includes a preserved soda siphon produced in the 1930s in Bologna (see inscription in the top) and used by company A. Ghiotti in San Marino Republic. The top specifies compliance with the relevant law of the Kingdom of Italy emanated in 1931. Please note the top is made of brass, rarer and more valuable than the chromed steel version. The bottle is made of fantastic green glass. The dimensions of the siphon are 35cm (height) x 10cm (diameter). The siphon is in great condition considering it is nearing 100 years of life and presents a nice patina, intentionally being in an unrestored state as a testament to its age and value. All the original parts are still present, and the glass bottle is intact. The siphon is perfect for decorating a vintage cocktail bar (especially speakeasy or prohibition style), a home bar, a restaurant or even to be collected.
