Gratallops 5 Partides 2012 (2 Bottles) Vi de la Vila Cal Batllet Marc Ripoll Sans - (Gratallops ) D.O.: PRIORAT As its name suggests, 5 Partides is made from cariñena grapes from five coster estates, planted on hillsides at different altitudes and with different orientations: Camp d'en Piquer (at 250 m, east-facing), Coma (at 300 m, south-facing), La Capella (at 300 m, south-facing), Mas d'en Pallàrès (at 300 m, southwest-facing), and Vinyals (at 250 m, south-facing). The family-owned vines are over 100 years old and are all located in the municipality of Gratallops, hence its status as Vi de Vila de Gratallops, conveying all the personality of this minerally rich terroir. The wine is complex and shows maturity. A great wine with volume, smooth, long, and elegant.
