Description
Faustino | Gran Reserva is a red wine produced in the vineyards of Bodega Faustino in the D.O.Ca La Rioja. This wine is specially crafted with Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo grape varieties.
Bodega Faustino is one of the most respected in Spain, and its work is based on love and respect for nature.
Production
In the winery, it spent 16 months in cement tanks for malolactic fermentation and then in American, French, and Yugoslavian oak barrels for 30 months of barrel aging.
Finally, it rested in the bottle for an additional 36 months before being released.
Taste
It has a beautiful ruby hue, gradually turning garnet: it presents an appearance that pleasantly impacts the senses. When swirled, you will appreciate an elegant bouquet of fruity aromas and spicy notes with a perfect balance between tannin and acidity.
An elegant, silky, smooth, and balanced red
Faustino | Gran Reserva is a true representative of one of the wineries with the longest historical tradition in Spain.
It is a magnificent example of the 20th-century vintage in La Rioja. It is a delicate wine with a wealth of personality, pleasing to the eye, nose, and palate.
Gastronomically, it pairs perfectly with any type of meat and mushroom rice dishes, fish such as tuna or cod, or cheeses such as Gruyère, among other delicacies.
