Beautiful and elegant bronze candlestick from the late 17th century, featuring an octagonal base and a baluster-shaped stem.
The round and hollow compartment in the foot functions as a fat trap, and the hole in the candle holder is there to allow the burnt-out candle to be removed with a pin.
This candlestick has developed a beautiful age-related patina over the years.
Dimensions: height: 15.3 cm, width from corner to corner: 12.6 cm, and width from flat surface to flat surface: 11.7 cm.
