Engraved portrait frontispiece of Walt Whitman. Published by George G. Harrap & Co, London, 1890s. Publishers’ original dark green leather covers, with gilt view and gilt lettering on upper board. Top page edges gilt. Book Dimensions: 19 x 13 cm and Number of Pages: 263 Condition: Lovely copy (appears not fully read as several pages still connected and uncut since its publication). Firm and well-bound. External covers in nice shape, with light wear to corners. Internally; the book is in very good condition indeed. Old inscriptions dated 1919 with neat ink on top first blank front free endpaper page. Pages are clean and unmarked. All pages are tightly held at the gutter. Inner hinges are very good (Please see pictures).
