Technique: Original woodblock print
Artist: Kunio Kaneko (b 1949)
Titled: "Kumadori 4"
Signed and numbered by the artist 97/150 - Japan - 2007
Kumadori (隈取) is the stage makeup worn by kabuki actors, mostly when performing kabuki plays in the aragoto style. The term also applies to a painting method in which two brushes are used simultaneously, one for the color and the other used to create shading or other details.
Condition:
As new. In very good condition, direct from the gallery of the artist.
Hand signed and numbered by Kunio Kaneko. Unique !
Never been framed!

1949 Born in Tokyo.
1972 Graduated from the Musashino University of Fine Arts.
Studied under Hoshi Joichi and Sasajima Kihei.
Exhibition: Many shows in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, France, and the United States.
The print will be send between hardboard and carton plates to prevent any damage in transport. Sending nearly worldwide, insured with tracking post.
