San Román Malvasía is a barrel-aged white wine made by Maurodos with the Malvasía variety in D.O Toro (Castilla y León). Once in the winery, San Román Malvasía undergoes selection and destemming. It is then left to macerate with its skins for 12 hours and after being racked by decantation, it is transferred to 500-liter barrels for fermentation. Finally, it is left to age for 10 months with periodic movements of the lees. San Román Malvasía is the first white wine produced by this Toro winery with old Malvasía Castilian vineyards or as it is also called Doña Blanca. A round, enveloping and perfumed wine.
