A beautiful and very decorative exciting vintage pendant from the danish designer Piet Hein. Made by Lyfa in 1969. Multi artist Piet Hein is perhaps best known today for his creation of the superelipse. An oval shape originally conceived to solve Copenhagen's traffic congestion but later applied to a range of designs including the famous superelipse table. Piet Hein's interest in form and function is also evident in the Ra ceiling light. In 1969 Lyfa updated the Ra's colourways to include bright red, yellow and orange versions, including this orange example with a diameter of 30 cm and a height of 21 cm. Comes with a wonderful patina. Signs of use and age. White wire. No bulb. NB. As this is a secondhand sale minor wear of use and age can appear. Therefor always look carefully at the pictures. Larger damages Will always be in the description. Notice that the colour can deviate a little bit compared to the pictures. All items are tested and are in working order. Will be shipped with track and trace and insurance. As possible it Will be a home delivery but some contries by pick up points.
