INFO: Splendid desk or tabletop clock with a marvelous and exclusive CULT SPACE AGE design featuring a spherical section. The clock was produced by the famous Japanese company TOKYO TOKEI. An exceptional vintage decor element with a unique scenic charm and outstanding aesthetic and visual beauty! The base with support stem is made of chrome-plated steel with a top structure of chrome-plated plastic resin / Hpvc and a semi-spherical cover of transparent Hpvc, with an internal dial made of blue aluminum and hour hands with a luminous rectangular night glow. The clock has been tested and is currently WORKING: turning the black rear knob simultaneously winds the movement of the hands and the chime, while the rear rod with the screw adjusts the position of the hands and also the alarm. The rear button is used to deactivate the alarm, which sounds clearly with a classic bell ringing noise. The alarm is functional, but please remember this is a used item from about 50 years ago, and it is obviously impossible to guarantee its perfect operation over time. Overall condition is more than good: the clock is well stable, and the structure shows no damage or dents; the valuable patina of time is visible in the photos.
