The Plantation Jamaica (LMDW) MMW is a rare Jamaican rum from 1994, distilled in Clarendon and bottled by Maison Ferrand. Distilled from molasses in a Vendome pot still, it was aged for 27 years. On the nose, it displays remarkable depth of tropical fruits, spices, and chocolate. The intense flavor profile includes menthol, banana, and dried apricot. Bottled at cask strength of 65.4% ABV, it is complex and multifaceted with well-integrated alcohol. While its robustness is appreciated, some feel it could be overwhelmed by the influence of the cask.
