Autograph letter signed by Roger Martin du Gard, dated March 23, 1946 followed by the mention: "My 65th birthday!".
Written in brown ink on four sheets of vellum paper.
The writer gives his technical instructions regarding the layout of the house at Tertre.
He details his expectations on several points: The telephone, the door between the office and the bedroom, the meter, the gas supply in the office in order to place a radiator there for the mid-season, boxes intended to conceal the radiators (with sketch), as well as the organization of the library on either side of the fireplace (with sketch) and the kitchen cupboard.
A concrete working letter, demonstrating the meticulous care he takes in the design of his home.
