AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

In this minimalist and intensely graphic work, Parscha Mirghawameddin explores the power of black and white in a composition dominated by verticality and gesture. On a bright white background, a broad black flat area unfolds in an irregular column shape, like an organic monolith. Its surface reveals subtle variations: layers, rubbings, ghost lines, and textures resulting from the passage of the spatula.

Fine incisions traverse this mass, revealing an almost calligraphic trace, discreet but essential, like a crack or an internal breath. Around this dark volume, a few minimalist interventions anchor the composition: a suspended slash, a horizontal gesture that seems to tear the surface, as well as a series of erased traces hinting at the artist's movement.

On the right, a perfectly filled black circle suddenly appears, dense and silent. It acts as a geometric counterpoint, an abstract celestial body or a punctuation mark in this space that is both raw and meditative. This contrast between the perfect shape of the circle and the vibrant materiality of the large flat surface creates a dialogue of great intensity.

The whole exudes restraint, tension, and balance: a minimalist abstraction where Mirghawameddin allows the power of the gesture, the weight of black, and the silence of white to express themselves. A work that is as much about architecture as it is about contemporary calligraphy.
