AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This is an excellent Appliqué table linen.
Appliqué is ornamental needlework in which pieces of patches of fabric in
different shapes and patterns are sewn or stuck onto a larger piece to form a
picture or pattern.
Appliqué in other words essentially applying one piece of fabric to another -
usually shapes or designs on top of a fabric background - and it can be
a practical way to add some depth to your designs., but is commonly used as decoration.
In this case it is a table linen.
There are three main methods of Appliqué ;
machine appliqué,
hand appliqué,
and fused appliqué.

I have looked at the reverse of the table linen and it appears to be hand appliqué
as there are loose threads. Also the embroidery is hand applied.
The colours are still as bright as when it was first embroidered.
The design is well achieved with bowls laden with fruit such as
grapes, pears, apricots and apples.
There is cut out Richelieu work with outlined embroidery garlands in soft green
and pink.
PLEASE NOTE;
The napkins are NOT included and were sold in a previous auction.
