Emilio Prini (1943-2016) - Quasi un gioco di prestigio

Conceptual work by Maestro Emilio Prini, collage on cardboard, measuring 14x16.5 inches, titled 'Almost a magic trick,' from the 1990s.

The work is complete with a simple yet fine wooden frame with a passepartout (see photo 1 and 2).

The work is extraordinary for various reasons, primarily because the artist's pieces are difficult to find on the market, but also because of their conceptual strength and poetic quality. Additionally, a truly noteworthy aspect is the provenance, which is historic and important: PIO MONTI Rome, a gallery that has handled, since the 1960s, the works of Master Prini in a virtually exclusive manner.
