Decorated with a beautiful fold-out plan of the old monuments of Paris drawn by Roguet, 19 plates outside the text drawn by Fichot and engraved by Huguet, and black figures within the text.

Bound in half-cherry leather, with a spine featuring raised bands decorated with the title and volume number in gilt lettering, with gilt arms of the City of Paris stamped at the foot of each volume. Mottled edges.
Beautiful copy, in very good condition. Minor rubbing on the headbands and spines, discreet brown spots on the back of some volumes. Interior fresh and clean, with a few rare scattered foxing, without severity. One tear on the last endpaper.
