A very fine copy of Henri de Rénier's poetry collection, published in the "Les Maîtres du Livre" series and bound in a luxurious binding signed by Auguste Bernasconi (1879-1967). Bound in half teal morocco with corners, spine with raised bands decorated with the title in gilt lettering, top edge gilt. Original wrappers and spine preserved.

From the deluxe edition; one of 56 copies on Annam paper made by the Rives paper mills. This one is number 20.

Adorned with a beautiful portrait of the author engraved in intaglio by Pierre Gandon, numerous ornaments in bands and tailpieces.

A very fine copy, in excellent condition. The binding is well-made, the spine is sunned and has minor rubbing to the corners and headcaps. The interior is immaculate.
