This 1914 edition of The Vicar of Wakefield by Oliver Goldsmith is a London publication by Constable & Company Ltd., enriched with illustrations by Edmund J. Sullivan, one of the most renowned British illustrators of the late Victorian and Edwardian eras. The work features a combination of color plates on coated paper protected by tissue paper and numerous black-and-white drawings, characteristic of Sullivan's refined and dynamic graphic style.

Green cloth binding with gold titles and decorations on the spine.
Illustrated title page with a woodcut vignette.
