AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Stunning large enamel advertising board of the iconic Belgian cigarette brand Tigra.

The board is equipped with a splendid clear image of Angelina Saey (1933-1979).

Angelina Saey was a model in Antwerp and was from Latvia.
She posed as a tiger girl for the packaging of the cigarette brand Tigra.
She was also wearing the black mask on the face of manufacturer Belga.

It was the American artist Al Moore who was hired by the manufacturer Vander Elst to immortalize her.
In the 1950s and 1960s, she grew into a sex symbol.
In 1979, she was found in her villa in Brasschaat by her husband, diamond dealer Jozef De Roeck, and their two sons.
She was lying in a large pool of blood with a noose around her neck.
A second autopsy revealed that it was murder, disguised as suicide.
However, the murder was never solved.

A large enamel board measuring 33.00 cm in length and 44.00 cm in height.

Has super bright colors and a beautiful shine.

The board is of very good and heavy quality, weighing 2.5 kilos.

Bottom right marked Belge.T.P.B.4/3/89

The sign is in an exceptionally beautiful and pristine condition.
Not updated or restored.

Was carefully packed and sent by registered mail.
