For those who have memories of the joy that clowns can bring, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Over the years, Lladro created many clowns that warmed the hearts of discerning collectors. This lot contains five of these most-loved creations, all retired and waiting to bring a smile to your face and a welcomed addition to your collection. Each clown is in mint condition, never used or displayed.

The "Little Traveler" clown was a special figurine designed in 1986 for members in the Lladro Collectors Society. Its wistful appearance and detailed facial and hair features add to its attraction.

The "Destination Big Top" clown definitely pulls at one's heartstrings with its touching downward glance as if to suggest second doubts about the possibility of running away to join a circus. This pause for reflection seems to be copied in the expression of the dog resting on the suitcase. A very sensitive thought-provoking sculpture designed in 1996 as a special event piece.

The "Little Pals" clown, my own personal favorite, is definitely a much-loved sculpture. Its pose embodies all the qualities of childhood innocence and sweetness. Who can resist the two little puppies peeking out of the trousers of the clown? Designed in 1985, forty years ago, this figurine was created for members of the Lladro Collectors Society.

The "Having a Ball" clown seems quite satisfied to while away the day by playing on his ball. His playful appearance is emphasized by his colorful costume, complete with ruffles and heart-decorated outfit. Lladro has once again perfectly captured the exuberance of childhood in this creative sculpture. It is the perfect piece to brighten one’s mood or bring a refreshing atmosphere of laughter and frivolity to one’s display. And imagine this clown on top of a birthday cake for a special child.

The "Pals Forever" clown is a special accompaniment to the earlier "Little Pals" clown and together make a charming set. The "Pals Forever" piece depicts our familiar clown with his little friend. These items will be wrapped carefully in their original protective Lladro boxes and shipped by SPEED POST through Hong Kong Post, except to the following countries which will be shipped by AIR PARCEL to take advantage of lower available rates for the buyer: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, and Slovakia. For shipping to Iceland it will be by SURFACE PARCEL (14 weeks) as no Speed Post or Air Parcel are available by Hong Kong Post.
